NIKE'S FESTIVAL OF AIR EXHIBITION: JAPAN
(TOKYO AND OSAKA)
Creative Direction: Michael Leon
Designer: Dino Manuel
Photography: Dominic Cooley
Celebrating nearly 30 years of air cushioning, tracing the air legacy from the 1979 Tailwind to Nike's latest innovation the Air Max 360, the "Festival of Air" encompassed an impressive 5000 square foot space within NikeTown. The festival was free to enter and showcased three decades of Nike Air technology, genealogy and innovation.
We designed shoe graphics for the interactive exhibition and celebration of Nike Air Design and Technology from August 25th – September 28th 2006. Graphics inspired by sketchbook doodles in Dino's notebook for a case study he was working on for Nike Sportswear.
