Fender Limited Edition George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster

Fender Limited Edition

George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster

Client
Fender

Services
Creative Direction, Art Direction, Animation, Campaign Design, Storytelling

Overview

To launch Fender’s Limited Edition George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster, we developed an animated short film celebrating the story behind one of the most iconic guitars in music history.

Inspired by handcrafted paper cutouts and illustrated visual storytelling, the film traces the origins of Harrison’s custom-built Rosewood Telecaster — from its creation in 1968 to its legendary appearance during The Beatles’ final rooftop performance at Apple Corps in London on January 30, 1969.

The result was a visually rich one-minute piece designed to honor the craftsmanship, cultural significance, and timeless character of the instrument.

The Story

Custom-built for George Harrison by Fender craftsmen Roger Rossmeisl and Philip Kubicki, the Rosewood Telecaster became one of the most recognizable guitars associated with The Beatles’ later era.

Using layered animation, textured illustrations, and archival-inspired scenes, the film highlights the instrument’s unique design details while capturing the spirit of Harrison’s creative legacy.

Dynamic Dynosaur produced a feature interview, editorial article, photography assets, and campaign video content for web and social.

The Interview

We sat down with Don Was to discuss the emotional impact and cultural significance of the selected records, exploring how music listening can become a more intentional and immersive experience through Wrensilva’s consoles.

“If people open up and allow these three albums into their lives, their lives are going to be better. They’re going to get a rich experience that will really make them feel better. Three very different experiences, but each equally evocative and communicative.”

Overview

For TIME, the tenth studio album from Your Old Droog, we developed a sculptural album artwork rooted in collage, texture, and found-object storytelling.

Drawing inspiration from Peter Beard’s layered journal collages, as well as the surreal tactile quality of Burnt Weeny Sandwich and Pick a Dub, the visual direction embraced imperfection, decay, and unexpected composition.

The result was a handcrafted timepiece sculpture assembled from vintage clock faces, gears, and salvaged mechanical parts — creating a chaotic yet intentional centerpiece that became the photographic foundation for the album campaign.

The Concept

The artwork explores time as both structure and disorder — mechanical, emotional, and fragmented.

Built entirely from collected vintage materials, the sculpture was designed as a physical object rather than a digital composition, allowing texture, shadow, and imperfection to shape the final imagery organically.

The visual language balances nostalgia and abstraction, reflecting the layered and unpredictable nature of the album itself.

Overview

For Kelsen Products’ Antioxidant Serum, we designed a packaging system that reflected the product’s clean formulation and restorative qualities.

Centered around green coffee oil and Vitamin C, the serum was developed to combat the daily effects of environmental stress and urban pollution. Our approach focused on restraint — pairing a minimal typographic system with frosted glass packaging to create an elevated and modern presentation.

The result was a refined visual identity that emphasized clarity, simplicity, and premium materiality.

The Approach

The packaging system was intentionally understated, allowing the product itself to remain the focal point.

Soft translucent materials, restrained typography, and subtle detailing were used to communicate purity and effectiveness without over-complicating the visual language. The frosted glass vessel added both tactile quality and a sense of durability, reinforcing the serum’s restorative purpose.

Creative Direction, Industrial Design, Packaging Design, 3D Design, Editorial Object Design

Overview

For Oakley’s Sentio project, we designed a limited-edition presentation vessel created to archive and memorialize the creative journey behind two new eyewear models: CMDN and HSTN.

The project centered around a small-run hardcover publication series accompanied by a sculptural display object designed to house both the books and the eyewear itself. More than packaging, the piece functioned as a collectible archive — documenting process, inspiration, and cultural context through physical storytelling.

Developed under the concept Other Sides of the World, the final object explored the relationship between two influential locations tied to the project’s identity: Camden Market and Houston Street.

The Concept

Beginning with the idea of a book containing a hidden cavity, we expanded the structure into a more immersive presentation object.

The design divided the experience into two worlds — Camden Market and Houston Street — representing contrasting sources of inspiration connected through Sentio at the center. Encased within clear plexiglass layers, collaged process materials surrounded the eyewear as an artifact of the creative journey itself.

At the core sat a hardcover book documenting the full development process, accompanied by the eyewear presentation in a sculptural display designed to feel archival, tactile, and collectible.

The final piece blurred the line between packaging, exhibition object, and design artifact.

Travis Rice and Chris Rasman went deep into Alaskas Tordillo Mountains. Their trip coincided with about five feet of fresh snow which was followed up by about 100 MPH winds. This lead to long days of searching and even longer nights in the lodge, sipping exotic wines and contemplating fate, or at least thinking about where, oh where, those pockets of good snow might be hiding in Alaska’s Tordillo Mountains. Team Dyno created animations as elements for the Quicksilver Film. The graphics ranged from intro animations and chapter breaks, to dialog subtitles and end credits. Quirky characters supplement the film with personality that follows the nature of the athletes.

Project – Brand Retail Communication

Team Dyno was recruited to define and rebrand the way Nike does business at a consumer level. There were different phases from messaging to type systems. We introduced a new materials palette and innovated “Beacon” and “Specialty” stories that rethought how the brand interacted with the new design language. We considered the hierarchy of how messaging was being received by the consumer. The project repurposed asset generation to improve efficiency of shoots. We questioned how new technology lives beyond a campaign launch and continues its relevance on the floor.

Concept Direction: Dino Manuel

The SALT. marketing director JP Collett was keen on setting a new photo direction for the brand. Coincidentally JP is a genuine lifestyle connoisseur, finding solace in 6am surfing and occasionally ripping around on a skateboard. We connect on that level but also in our shared appreciation for beautiful imagery. We decided on a direct approach to avoid distracting consumers from the timelessness of the brand. We worked closely with JP and the marketing team to re-introduce products to consumers while highlighting specific details on key pieces of eyewear. Our goal was to visually tell a high-end, glamorous look and feel story. The tone we aimed to set was dramatic and sophisticated, focusing on classic aesthetics. We framed products as “heroic” by teasing features that emphasized immaculate craftsmanship and the premium materials that make each pair of glasses unique: handmade Italian acetate, Japanese craftsmanship and lens technology by Carl Zeiss Vision.

The consumer can actually play the retail fixture that houses the information. The guitar was done in Fender's brand color red. We launched a test of these at Fender's NAAM booth.

For this project we were interested in the intersection of art and design. Paying tribute to designs found in the original Star Wars trilogy, we selected artwork from our vault and submitted various concepts to Uniqlo. We made sure to step outside the box for this series. We wanted to explore a playful element, combining the classic athletic jersey with discernible symbols that correlate with the opposing forces. We also experimented with kid drawn depictions of our favorite iconic Star Wars characters.

We produced eight graphics for the series which include: Man Within the Man, Duel Sabers, Diamond Vader, Hero and Villain Jerseys and Kirra's Sketchbook Drawing Set.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, DC Shoes asked us to take on an amazing project in collaboration with legendary skateboard photographer Mike Blabac. Mike and our team worked over a course of three months, meeting and developing something we'd all be proud of. Mike painstaking curated the entire DC Shoes photo vault to craft the story, while on our end it was about focusing on design materials and how they played an interesting role in shifting the mood of the book as you journeyed through it. The production quality was as much a priority as the photography. Three different paper stocks, metallic ink, uv varnish, spot varnish, dies, black foil, silk screen. This was a designer's dream. Big thanks to DC Creative Director, Deven Stephens, and SVP of Marketing, Jeff Taylor, for the opportunity to go all out on this puppy.

Dynamic Dynosaur worked with DC Shoes to create the “Destructive Creatures" series which is actually an acronym for DC. We had to figure out a clever way to introduce the surf team athletes and the regions from where they reside. The campaign is a nod to the fun side of DC and was more about being new, innovative and different while remaining progressive. We chose stop motion as our vehicle expanding the visually creative possibilities and scenarios. We created a theme and then brought our ideas to life, leaving it up to our imaginations as to how we wanted to tell the story.

The campaign was used for online and print advertising, in-store graphics, and included a video short featuring original artwork by Jose Emroca Flores, shot and animated by the DC films team.
