We are very proud to have done artwork for the Deluxe version of J Dilla's Motor City. J Dilla’s mother, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, has curated a new collection of rare and unreleased Dilla instrumentals. The set is titled Motor City. CD and vinyl editions are packaged in a limited-edition mailing envelope with a handwritten message from Ma Dukes to Dilla, illustrating the album’s concept as a “‘letter’ to her son.” The LP also comes with a download code for a mix of the album by Dilla’s friend and collaborator J Rocc. Listen to “Motor City J. Rocc Blend #1. ” Our Graphics Package spanned from the Album Art to Digital Presents to a Limited Edition Tee, Slipmat & Cassette.
